The JOBS Act
On April 5th, the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (the JOBS Act), landmark legislation that makes significant changes to both the Securities Act of '33 and the Securities Exchange Act of '34. The bill's objective is to make it easier for companies to raise capital by easing the regulatory burdens, restrictions and costs presently associated with capital formation. Linda Molnar
Managing DirectorDr. Molnar has advised early-stage life sciences companies in the structuring and management of corporate development and financing opportunities in order to maximize capital efficiency by utilizing non-dilutive funding. Previously she served as a consultant at the National Cancer Institute, where she was instrumental in the launch and implementation of the Program in Cancer Nanotechnology. Linda has a breadth of experience in collaborations and partnerships between academic institutions, large companies, and biotechnology startups for the successful translation of fundamental research into products and businesses. She received her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her B.S. in Chemistry with Honors from the University of Pittsburgh. She also completed the Wharton Management Program.
